Feb: Bike maintenance for Women (St Kilda East)

Dates: Wed 15 Feb (6.30pm) or Sat 25 Feb (10am).  Now running for the third year, this popular 2 hr demonstration workshop is being delivered as part of the 2017 Sustainable Living Festival program.  The venue has generously been provided by Alma Road Community House (ARCH).  Choose from one of 2 sessions to suit you, at a cost of $10 + booking fee.

Participants will be shown all the basics: how to undertake bike checks, make basic adjustments, take off a wheel, replace an inner tube, repair a puncture and clean a chain.  If there’s time, any participant bikes can have a brief safety check.  Handout notes will be provided, plus Port Phillip TravelSmart maps and other useful info.
